Chronic Illness/Pain
With Kim Bosse
After speaking with members in the community who were struggling to manage both the physical and emotional symptoms of chronic illness/pain or to find a space where they felt safe and comfortable practicing yoga, Kim, Peace of Mind Yoga Instructor, wanted to create this very space. This open discussion forum will provide an opportunity for participants to share their lived experience with chronic illness/pain, helping to facilitate a sense of support and community, held in a space where we "get it."

LGBTQIA2S+
With Josie O'Brien
In response to a member's request for a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for LGBTQIA2S+ individuals, we worked to establish a free, peer-led LGBTQIA2S+ group. This initiative reflects the organization's commitment to fostering an environment where members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community can freely express themselves, share their experiences, and support each other in their journeys. The group aims to address the unique challenges faced by LGBTQIA2S+ individuals and provide a platform for connection, advocacy, and personal growth.

Perimenopause/Menopause
With Maria Wachtel
The Perimenopause/Menopause group at Peace of Mind emerged from a genuine need expressed by our community members for a supportive space to discuss the challenges and experiences of perimenopause and menopause. Recognizing the often overwhelming and lonely journey of perimenopause and menopause, we aim to facilitate a free, peer-led group where individuals can connect, share their stories, and find mutual support. This group is intended for anyone seeking connection and understanding as they navigate the physical, emotional, and psychological changes associated with perimenopause or menopause.
